SMC2000/3000/4000 The SMC2000, SMC3000, and SMC4000 platforms are specifically designed for IVR, CTI, and FAX. They are built for continuous operation, based on industry standards and utilize a completely open architecture. The SMC3000 is our most popular model. It has redundant hot swappable power supplies and redundant hot swappable SCSI Ultra 320 Raid disk storage. The SMC4000 is similar to the SMC3000 except it has dual Xeon processors. The SMC2000 is a cost reduced model and has a single power supply and single disk drive. All systems utilize ECC RAM (error correction code) with the SMC2000 having 512 MB RAM standard and the SMC3000 / SMC4000 having 1GB RAM standard. Ethernet LAN adapter, floppy drive, CD drive, serial / parallel ports, monitor, keyboard, mouse, and operating system are all standard equipment with each system. Alarm notification and SNMP are available to alert personnel of error conditions. For telco grade fault tolerance and remote administration, an LSSGR / NEBS compliant version is available. Systems Design: The SMC2000, SMC3000, and SMC4000 are designed for use in a telephone or computer room. The clean and attractive design allows the system to be "displayed" instead of being hidden. The systems are designed for serviceability and allow quick removal and replacement of any and all internal components. All module covers remove quickly with slotted fasteners and knurled screws. All PCB's and wiring harnesses are connectorized. The chassis adhere to EIA 19" form factor and are equipped with rack mount rails.
