IVR We make both traditional and speech enabled IVR systems. Traditional IVR systems are touch tone based, written using C and Visual Basic. Most often this form of IVR accesses back end data via SQL stored procedures. Second generation IVR systems use speech recognition, are written using VoiceXML, and access back end data via http. The IVR system mimics a person accessing a web page. It essentially reads html tables and enters data the same way a person would. This allows the system to "piggyback" on top of your existing infrastructure and use the same communications to your back end data as your internet product.
