Shelton, Connecticut, February 7, 2000 - DAC Systems is pleased to announce it acquired the InfoFast product previously developed and marketed by Artisoft. DAC Systems, located in Shelton Connecticut will continue to sell and support the InfoFast - Fax on Demand / Interactive Voice Response product worldwide. InfoFast is the easiest to deploy most robust "information on demand" product in the marketplace. Its application development module "The Designer" facilitates the creation of fax on demand, audio bulletin board, voice messaging, and call routing applications by non-technical staff. The return on investment for the product is exceptionally short, in many cases, less than 3 months. It can fax web pages (good for use by people without Internet access), handle up to 12 simultaneous callers, perform one call or two call fax on demand, and includes everything needed to deploy a system such as digital recording audio editor and comprehensive report generator.
